A terrible crime has been committed against me.
A terrible crime has been committed against me. After playing my innocent, lovingly crafted work, a mean, evil, malevolent, TYRANNICAL player obliterated my sense of self worth by giving a game developer their worst fear, feedback! Such daggers were forced through my heart as “It could really use a tutorial,” and “the random noise ground doesn’t match the aesthetic of the buildings.” Oh! The pain! After what felt like decades of torment, I lamented. Here you go. I’ve added a tutorial to the first 4 levels (Dude, Rest, Water, Food) and an open-ended level at the end, along with a main menu to connect them all. I’ll add more when the new cards are finished, followed by a few challenge levels and finally a sandbox mode. I hope you can live with yourself, you monster. (Thank you to the tester for their kind words)
* Replaced the old, sad terrain with new, spunky terrain.
* Made a tutorial system
* Reordered some of the instantiation code to fix a bug where buildings didn’t recognize their own inputs
* Added a money tracker to the character stats.
* Added a main menu with some fun royalty-free music (Blue Ribbons – TrackTribe)
* The game now has levels, and keeps track of how far you’ve gotten in the game
* Added 5 levels. 4 tutorials and a sandbox.
